2014 Hongyun Art Maker Summer Camp July 21 - 25 Photos 照片

July 21 - 25, 2014

This summer camp week focused on learning to recycle and create new interesting art from found pieces!  We had daily field trips to the park in the Hongyun Art Bus for outdoor fun with our counselors and camp leaders.  Yummy lunches were provided for us each day!  We also got to play with Mindy - a super friendly dog and the Hongyun Art mascot!

We also had a field trip to the San Francisco Zoo where we visited an art exhibit made entirely from garbage collected from the ocean!  We also got to visit and learn about all kinds of animals too!

The end of the week concluded with a private tour of Whole Foods Market where we sampled lots of delicious organic foods and learned about organic produce.  We also drew fresh fruits, vegetables, and plants as well as made our own fruit and yogurt parfaits as a treat!

Best summer camp ever!!
