Wow!! We had so much fun at our TA get together! Over 60 TAs joined together for a fun time playing games, bouncing in bubble suits, and having lots of snacks!

Happy Birthday Sawa! We’re so excited that Sawa celebrated her birthday with us! Sawa has been a student with us for 3 years and is also an awesome TA!

Congratulations to the our team who helped Girl Scout Troop 60868 accomplish their Silver Award Project!  The team was lead by Hongyun Art Student and Girl Scout Carolyn L. (Age 12, Yellow Cloud) with artwork design help from Audrey C. (Age 15, Red Cloud).

Woohoo!  We did it!  We earned almost $9000 for the HYA Foundation AND won two awards at Maker Faire!  Learn more!

Hope you had fun with us painting your own reusable canvas bags at this year's Earth Day Festival!  We sure had a lot of fun!

We sure do love Mindy, the mascot of Hongyun Art!  Mindy is a 5 year old Welsh Corgi and hangs out with us every day at Hongyun Art.  This past summer, we took a group of students to Corgi-Con to celebrate Corgi-kind!  Corgi-con is the largest corgi event that we know of with over 800 corgis in attendance! 

Our biggest fundraiser of the year!  We take the ideas our students have been working on over the past year and raise money at Maker Faire!  This was our 3rd year at Maker Faire and our biggest year yet!

We had such a great time helping the City of Cupertino celebrate Earth Day!  We're also very honored to be the very first recipient of the City of Cupertino's "Partners for the Planet" award!

Hi everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our art show at the Bay Club in Cupertino this past month!  We estimated over 6000 people attended the event through out the day - a record art show for Hongyun Art!  Click through to see the photo gallery!

We had a lot of fun checking out Google's Self-Driving Car prototype - we took 10 of our top students to see the car and learn more about it before the upcoming art competition to decorate the car and make it even more cool to look at!

Congratulations to our Red Cloud students!  This year's Maker Faire was even better than the last!  We operated our booth quite smoothly and earned over $3500 for the Hongyun Art Foundation!  This is a 71% earnings growth over last year's event proceeds!  WOW!

Not only that, we won two Maker Faire awards!!  The first is the "Best in Class" award for the dark room (where we were located in the event).  The second is the Editor's Choice award which gives us a chance of being featured in Make Magazine - the leading international publication for the Maker Movement.  CONGRATS TEAM!!
