July 7 - 11, 2014
This summer camp week focused on learning about animals and nature and using art to express what our students learned and enjoyed the most! We had daily field trips to the park in the Hongyun Art Bus for outdoor fun with our counselors and camp leaders. Yummy lunches were provided for us each day! After lunch we got to play with Mindy - a friendly dog and Hongyun Art mascot!
We also had a field trip to the Palo Alto children's zoo where we learned about animals and science!
The end of the week concluded with a private tour of Whole Foods Market where we sampled lots of delicious organic foods and learned about organic produce. We also drew fresh fruits, vegetables, and plants as well as made our own fruit and yogurt parfaits as a treat!
Best summer camp ever!!!
