Hongyun Art Green Cloud Field Trip Photos

Wow!  What a great weekend we had at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University!  Over 80 Hongyun Art Green Cloud (Level 3) students visited this awesome Art Center over two days!  Our students had fun learning about great artwork and artists as well as skecthing around the Art Center!

This summer, Hongyun Art students on the Green Cloud and higher will be going on 2-3 field trips as part of their regular weekly art classes!  We have so many great places to learn about art AND enjoy the California sunshine!  Get ready for a summer of super fun field trips, making new friends, and learning about art!

Earth Day Mural Success!!

This past Saturday April 6h, almost 400 Hongyun Art students and TAs came  to Cupertino's Civic Plaza to create the largest chalk mural in our city's history!  Not only that, but we got a special visit from Cupertino's very own Mayor Mahoney who stopped by to take photos with our students and their amazing mural as well as congratulate them on their hard work and sign autographs!  Thank you Mayor Mahoney!

Hongyun Art teachers and staff want to thank everyone for all of their amazing creativity and energy!  This mural embodies the Hongyun Art spirit of creativity, teamwork, artistic expression!  Everyone who worked on this massive project should feel super proud to be a part of a unique piece of art that helped to bring smiles to thousands of Cupertino residents and visitors alike!  GREAT JOB EVERYONE!

Hongyun Art will be at Cupertino's Earth Day Festival!

We are very excited to be a HUGE part of the City of Cupertino's 5th Anniversary Earth Day and Arbor Day Festival!

Not only did Hongyun Art Students create all of the artwork for the city's official announcement, but Hongyun Art Students are planning and executing the largest ever chalk mural in Cupertino history!

It's going to take a lot of people (and chalk!) to create our chalk mural for the city, but it's going to be spectacular!

The Hongyun Art Party Team will also be onsite to make sure everyone has glitter tattoos and facepaint!

The brand new Hongyun Art Bus will be on display at the event as well! It's a super efficient diesel-powered machine that gets over 20 miles to a gallon and carries 12 passengers! Be sure to take a photo with the bus and it's amazing artwork!

It's going to be a super fun time - hope you can join us on Saturday April 6th between 11am - 3pm at Cupertino Library and Civic Plaza!

Stanford University Field Trip Photos!

Wow!  What a great weekend we had with our students at Stanford University!  We took over 100 students to visit Stanford University in our brand new rolling art piece--the Hongyun Art Bus!  Our students created art outdoors, had time to relax and lunch on the Stanford University oval, and play with Mindy the Dog (our mascot)!   Mindy had lots of fun with our students and made sure everyone had a great time!  We're looking forward to more field trips and our field-trip filled summer camps!  Get ready for much more outdoor art fun!
