Did you know that Hongyun Art students are great designers too! Our original logo was designed by a 4 year old student almost 6 years ago! Now, other companies are asking our students to design their logos too and maybe even WIN an IPAD 2!

Students under the age of 18 have until May 20th to drop off their idea for a new educational startup company called Innobeee! If their design is chosen, they will WIN an IPAD 2 and be featured in a local newspaper! Get going!

Hi everyone!  We have 3 brand new illustrated story books created by Hongyun Art Students available now!  These books were created by Hongyun Art Book Clubs during the Fall 2011 semester!  Students work as a team to write and illustrate their stories together!  Good job Book Club members!  Woo hoo!

These books are available TODAY in our studio, online at Amazon.com, and will soon be available in the Santa Clara County library!  The books make great gifts!

We have photos from our 2011 Fall Art Show that exhibited artwork from all of our students.  Over 400 pieces of artwork were exhibited from Hongyun Artists ages 3 1/2 to 14 years of age.  We had an outstanding turnout of over 2000 attendees!

We also have photos from our most recent project - the Whole Foods Market murals!  Over 100 Hongyun Artists ages 7 and up along with the Hongyun Art teachers and assistants helped create these amazing murals in just two days!  Students used the leadership skills, creativity, and teamwork they learned from Hongyun Art to create something wonderful for the community to enjoy!  We encourage you to stop by the Whole Foods Market Stevens Creek produce and bakery departments to see the mural which spans over 100 feet long!

It's almost time for our World Famous Hongyun Art Camps!

Our camps our a bit different in that we have students focus for the entire week on a team-based project. Parents will often ask, "will my student be bored of just one project?" The answer is a resounding, "No!" Students have lots of fun making new friends and working as a team to complete very challenging and incredible projects!

Just take a look at the result from a past summer camp.  The students age 7 and up wrote, laid-out, inked, and colored this book in just one camp week!  The book is about Mindy, a Welsh Corgi puppy that goes on a great adventure and meets new friends along the way.  You can purchase a copy of this comic book in our school or on Amazon.com.  It's also available in the Cupertino Library (just search for Hongyun Art).
